Situated on the Western edge of Africa, Dakar is the region's economic centre. Senegal is the second largest economy in French-speaking West Africa.
The services sector contributes to 60% of the GDP, employing 22.4% of the working population. It benefits specifically from excellent telecommunications infrastructures which encourage investments in teleservices and the Internet. It is a steadily growing sector.
Surrounded by the Atlantic Coast, Dakar is also a major tourist centre. The Senegalese capital is a primary entry point.
Lastly, as an economic centre and congress venue, Dakar also benefits from significant business tourism.
Situated in the Sacré Coeur III district 15 minutes from Plateau, Dakar's city centre, the site benefits from a dynamic environment in a thriving and very student-oriented district.
The building is a new construction built in 2008, designed to accommodate the activity of a higher education establishment in accordance with international standards.
The school now has:

- Twenty lecture rooms with video projectors
- A documentation centre
- Administrative areas
- A cafeteria on the top floor
Students and visitors have access to the Internet in all three buildings which are fully Wi-Fi-connected.
