Global DBA

Global DBA Programme is given by KEDGE Business School in cooperation with Hong Kong Baptist University and The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. KEDGE DBA students who complete their studies will be awarded the degrees of both DBA and MSc Research Methods. KEDGE Business School is one of only 1% of Business Schools in the world to hold the Triple Crown (AMBA, EQUIS & AACSB), and the degree is globally recognized.

Commencement is in the autumn every year.

The duration of Global DBA programme is normally 4 years. For those who advance more quickly in their research may submit at the end of the 3rd year. 

Students will take the bulk of the seminars during the first two years. For each of the first two years, courses alternate between KEDGE's campus in Paris and that of another instituton in Asia. The location in Asia varies. Once the research proposal has been reviewed by the KEDGE review committee, students will be assigned one or two supervisors. Supervision continues through till graduation. 

The programme is open to application all year around.

We offer scholarships for DBA students to support your studies. KEDGE alumni receive tuition fee reduction of 10%. Other candidates should write to the Global DBA team to apply for scholarship

EMBA concentrates on delivering management knowledge and skills, and  a great number of  case studies and discussions will be involved in the classes. A PhD is a full-time research programme. Typically, this programme is to prepare students for academic careers. The DBA programme is delivered partime to men and women in business who have significant practical experience and wish to conduct guided research on topics of specific business application. Similar to the PhD programme, courses on methodology, research methods, literature review writing and advanced courses on specific topics are taken. 

Education background is a significant factor but not the decisive one. A candidate who has good corporate management experience and a strong aspiration to study will be taken into consideration. Supplementary materials may be required (such as references).

All courses of the Global DBA programme will be delivered in English. All applicants must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to the programme. 

Participants are to submit  two articles to internationally refereed management journals (Only English language journals accepted) and a futher overarching document that brings together and summarises the two papers. 

Global DBA programme require participants to attend a series of research seminars. If unable to attend, students should write to the programme for approval in advance, and must take the seminar  the next year. Students who do accumulate enough credits are not allowed to graduate.

Yes, students would pay an extention fee of 15,000 USD.
