The KEDGE Global Executive MBA is pleased to invite you to a conference : "Inspiring & Being inspired : Meeting up the House of COURBET, the first sustainable high jewellery of Place Vendôme (Paris) - Exchanges with CEO Manuel Mallen".

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The House of Courbet was founded in 2018 by two luxury good professionals : Marie-Ann Wachtmeister and Manuel Mallen. Courbet is the first high jewellery to embrace the use of laboratory-grown diamonds and recycled gold, and be both ethical and sustainable.

Rather than being born in the depths of the Earth, these diamonds emanate from strong ethics, deeply held values, and from the most brilliant minds of the Sillicon Valley. The result is an opportunity for more conscious choice.

Courbet carefully located its showroom in Paris, the international jewellery capital. As a highly symbolic place of the world’s jewellery scene, the Place Vendôme evokes exceptional status and holds a thrilling magical allure. Shaking the strong codes of the jewellery industry to its core by the sourcing of its raw materials: Courbet is the world’s first and only disruptive luxury jewellery brand.

ABOUT OUR EXPERT

Manuel Mallen has been a luxury specialist for 30 years. He began his career in the Richemont group where he quickly progressed. First, by taking over the Piaget subsidiary in Spain and then in France, before heading towards Baume & Mercier in France. In 2013 he left the Richemont group to buy the Poiray brand with investors. In 2017 he sold his Poiray shares and wrote the first lines of Courbet, which opened its doors in May 2018, less than a year later. Manuel Mallen is the CEO of Courbet.
