Perfzone: Two KEDGE Full-time MBA alumni launch a start-up dedicated to sustainable human performance

11/05/2026
Rémy Makadji and Jeremy Brites, graduates of the KEDGE full-time MBA in Paris, are the founders of Perfzone, a start-up operating at the intersection of human risk prevention and business development. Their ambition is to make motivation a strategic driver of sustainable performance, for both organisations and individuals.

Turning an invisible challenge into a performance driver

The project originated from a widely shared observation: disengagement at work represents a considerable human and economic cost that companies still tend to underestimate.
It was around this issue that Rémy Makadji developed Perfzone, drawing in particular on mental coaching methods inspired by elite-level sport.

A predictive tool for managing motivation

Perfzone offers a predictive assessment of motivation levels, based on several key drivers, including autonomy, competence and sense of purpose. Drawing on this data, the platform generates personalised recommendations that combine algorithmic analysis with human support.

Designed as a genuine decision-support tool, the solution enables organisations to anticipate disengagement risks and take targeted action at both individual and collective levels.

It is aimed at both businesses and individuals, with a focus on sustainable and measurable performance. Having validated its product-market fit with B2C executives, P-CUB3 is now entering a new phase of development for its Perfzone solution, with the upcoming launch of corporate pilot programmes.

As part of this next stage, the Perfzone team is seeking three partner organisations to take part in a three-month pilot programme involving teams of five to ten people. This trial is primarily intended for companies facing challenges related to complex sales, distribution network management or retail point-of-sale leadership.

The solution has also demonstrated its relevance within the Tech sector, where preserving mental capital is a key performance factor. More broadly, Perfzone is looking to engage with early-adopter organisations that identify with this value proposition.

The objective is clear: to turn the “intangibility” of engagement into predictive data, in order to better prevent burnout among key talent and secure measurable performance gains. The pilot phase is scheduled to launch in September 2026.

A project developed within the full-time MBA programme

It was within the KEDGE Full-time MBA Paris programme that the project took shape. The programme enabled the two founders to structure their business model, test their approach in real-world conditions and accelerate the development of their solution.

Perfzone therefore illustrates the EMBA’s ability to support experienced professionals in bringing high-impact entrepreneurial projects to life, in direct response to the evolving challenges of the workplace.

Partner organisations sought

As part of the launch of Perfzone, P-CUB3 is therefore seeking three partner organisations to trial the solution over a three-month period with teams of five to ten people, starting in September 2026. The initiative is particularly aimed at companies facing challenges related to complex sales, distribution network management, retail point-of-sale leadership, or the preservation of mental capital in demanding environments, especially within the Tech sector.
