KEDGE will launch a new major dedicated to sports and entertainment business management in Paris. It could also be followed independently as a certificate.

The KEDGE Global EMBA | Sports & Entertainment Business Management major will prepare participants for senior management positions in the Sports/Events sector.

The KEDGE Global Executive MBA, an internationally oriented program offered in English, is 39th worldwide and 4th in France by the 2019 Financial Times ranking. It is aimed at Executives with more than 8 years of professional experience including 5 years of managerial experience. More than 1,800 participants have already followed the Global Executive MBA since its creation and are now benefiting from its positive impact on their careers in France and around the world. Therefore, it’s a whole international network that opens up to participants.

KEDGE Business School Expertise is widely recognized by professionals from the Sport and Entertainment industry

The sport sector represents a part of the French economy that has been growing over the past 15 years, representing nearly 300,000 jobs (+3% per year on average), and sports spending in France is around €40 billion, according to “Les avis du CESE” (l’Economie du Sport - Bernard Amsalem & Mohamed Mechmache – July 2019).

With the creation of this 72-hour 9-day major, delivered in Paris, KEDGE Business School capitalizes on one of its Areas of Excellence, illustrated by the “Msc International Sport & Event Management”, already widely recognized by professionals in the sport industry. Today, KEDGE is offering candidates the “next step” in terms of their career. Beyond the acquisition of basic management skills, a global and international vision of economic problems, the development of leadership and soft skills, within a curriculum of more than 528 hours, the KEDGE Global EMBA | Sports & Entertainment Business Management major will prepare participants for senior management positions in the Sports/Events sector. It includes new emerging professions (Sponsors/Partnerships in large companies, Sports Projects Directors, Sponsorship Activation Managers, Fan Relationships Managers, etc...).

Some insights on the major as proposed in the KEDGE Paris campus

This major can also be followed independently from the KEDGE Global Executive MBA, according to the same conditions of access and the places available, resulting in a KEDGE Business School certificate.

More specifically, the major will address the dynamics of Sports Business, marketing and sports brand management, communication and celebrity management, as well as recruitment challenges. The seminars will be delivered by Pr Jean-Philippe Danglade, Lionel Maltese, Franck Pons and experienced professional speakers, and will be completed by Live on site cases (Roland-Garros, PSG, face-to-face with specialized recruiters, etc.).
